Ardgarry Farm provides holiday accommodation near the mythical Loch Ness. They have self-catering cottages and log cabins, as well as bed and breakfast accommodation. The setting is idyllic and peaceful, far from the pressures of everyday life, but still well-placed for touring the western Highlands and visiting the exciting tourist attractions in the area.
Nearby and within easy reach are Fort Augustus and Loch Ness, Cawdor Castle, Fort William and Ben Nevis, Inverness and the Isle of Skye. There are also plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like climbing, hill-walking, loch and river fishing, bird watching, wildlife watching, river walks and forest walks.
Invergarry, the village where the farm is located, lies at the eastern end of Glengarry and has a rich history. Invergarry has a visitors centre and cafe, a post office, a shop, a petrol station and two hotels. The Great Glen Way leads through the village into the magnificent hills, which are ideal for short or long distance walking or cycling. Other outdoor pursuits are available nearby, including a water sports centre, which is only five kilometres away.
Around Invergarry a wide variety of wildlife can be seen, including wildcats, pine martens, deer and various species of birds. Glengarry Forest is only a short walk away from Ardgarry Farm and boasts well laid out and signposted walks, leading past waterfalls and along the river Garry, which provides great opportunities for kayaking and white water rafting.
The bed and breakfast accommodation is located in the main house and consists of one en-suite double bedroom. It has leven access and sleeps a single grown up or a couple. The room can’t accommodate pets or children. The continental breakfast is served in the room.
The cottages and log cabins sleep between two and six people. Well behaved pets are welcome in the log cabins by prior arrangement.
