Foxhole Farm Cottage is set in a peaceful location in the hills above Kiltarlity. The self-catering cottage makes an ideal base for exploring the stunning landscape of the northern Highlands. Both the west coast and the east coast are in easy reach, too. The mythical Loch Ness with the ruins of Urquhart Castle on its shores is only five miles away, so is the Moniack Writers Centre. Inverness is twelve miles away and offers good food and excellent amenities.
Other nearby places to visit are Brodie Castle, Cawdor Castle, the historic Fort George and Culloden Battlefield. Visitors can also take a trip along the Moray Malt Whisky Trail or go slightly further afield and take a day trip to the stunning Isle of Skye or the Orkney Isles.
There are also plenty of outdoor activities available nearby, including kayaking, sailing and other watersports, hill walking and mountain biking, golf and skiing. Rosemarkie beach is a twenty minute drive away.
Foxhole Farm is on a croft with cattle, sheep and hens. There are also three ponies. The property is well equipped, homely and quiet and offers wonderful views across the stunning landscape of the northern Highlands.
